FEES for Services

The cost of a 45-minute individual therapy session is $225.

The fee for consulting services will be determined by the scope of the project.

I accept most major credit cards and require payment at the time of service.

Do You Accept Insurance?

There are situations where I may be considered an out-of-network provider. Similar to many private practices, I do not participate in insurance networks or handle direct billing with insurance companies. However, as an out-of-network provider, I can provide monthly superbills upon request. Please note that submitting a superbill to your insurance company requires a diagnosis for insurance purposes.

Full payment is required at the time of the appointment. While I cannot guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company, it's important to note that you are responsible for paying the appointment fee regardless of whether you receive reimbursement.

Be sure to check your coverage carefully. Here are some good questions for when you speak with your insurance company:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits? Do I have a deductible? How much is it and how much has been met

  • What percentage of the therapy fee is covered?

  • How many sessions are covered per year?

Understanding The Investment

8 Reasons to See An Out of Network Provider

PATIENT PROTECTIONS AGAINST SURPRISE BILLING / GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE OF COSTS

The Federal No Surprises Act went into effect on January 1, 2022 to protect patients from surprise medical bills. As a result, all licensed health providers who offer out of network services are required to post a notice of your “rights and protections against surprise medical bills” on our website or in our physical offices. As an out-of-network provider, you will know with certainty the cost of each session, as you will pay us that same fee each week. It is extremely unlikely that you would ever receive a surprise bill from our practice, given that you must sign off on our scheduling and cancellation policy before we begin working together. If you ever have questions or concerns about billing, we would be happy to clarify and provide you with clear, accurate information.
